I am Kevin, and I build custom websites that generate real enquiries for businesses. Before this, I spent over twenty years in retail and the motor trade. So I think about your website the way you do: does it bring in work?

A Web Designer Who Thinks Like a Business Owner
Before web design, I spent over twenty years in the motor trade, first as a parts advisor and later as a parts manager.
I have worked in main dealer groups and independent garages throughout the UK.
I know what it is to chase margins, manage stock, and keep customers coming back.
Websites came into it early. At Monarch Garage in Glasgow, a Land Rover and Jaguar specialist, I ran the main website and built a WooCommerce shop of over 5,000 product lines. Later, over four years at Clydesdale Classic Cars, I built and ran the company website alongside my day job.
So I do not just think about colours and layouts. I think about what your website needs to do: explain your services, build trust, and get more people picking up the phone. That is why I have built pages on websites for specific trades, from plumbers to garages.
Work with me, and you deal with me from the first chat to launch and long after:
- No account managers.
- No technical waffle.
- No disappearing once your site goes live.
Just clear advice and a website built around how your business actually works.
- Designed for results: Built specifically to turn casual visitors into paying clients.
- Clear, transparent process: No confusing technical jargon, hidden fees, or agency markups.
- Tailored to your business: Clean, modern custom designs crafted to match your exact goals.

Proven Track Record: Real Websites for Real Businesses
Here is a selection of websites I have recently built for businesses across Scotland and the UK. Every one was designed with a single goal: helping that business win more work
What My Clients Say
Don’t just take my word for it. Here’s what business owners say about working with me:
Web Design Services
Whether you need a brand-new website, a refresh of an existing one, or ongoing support after launch, I can help keep things simple. If you sell products, I also build WooCommerce online shops.
WordPress Web Design
A new website built around how your customers think and what you need them to do when they arrive. Mobile-friendly, fast, and straightforward for you to manage on your own.
Website Redesigns
If your current site is holding you back rather than helping, a redesign is often quicker and cheaper than starting again. I tell you plainly what is worth keeping.
SEO Services
Helping your business appear when someone searches for what you offer. The right structure, page titles, and content signals, built in from the start.
WordPress Support
Monthly plans that keep your website updated, secure, and running properly. If something goes wrong, you reach me directly, not a helpdesk queue.
Website Copywriting
If you know what your business does but cannot quite put it into words, I can write the content too. Clear copy that sounds like you at your best.
Web Hosting and Domains
Reliable UK hosting, domain setup, and professional email. I manage the renewals, certificates and technical side, so you never have to.
How It Works: Simple, Clear, No Surprises
1. A No-Pressure Chat
I ask about your business, your customers, and what you need the website to do. Most of this happens by phone or video call, wherever you are.
2. I Put Together Your Plan
You get a fixed written quote covering exactly what is included, what it costs, and when it will be done. Everything is agreed before work starts.
3. Design and Build
I design your site and share it with you before anything goes live. You review it, and I refine it until it represents your business properly.
4. Launch and Handover
Your website goes live and I walk you through managing it day to day. After that, I am still a phone call or a message away.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a website cost?
A five-page small business website from a UK freelancer typically costs £800 to £2,000 in 2026.
My one-page sites start at £399, brochure sites at £895 and multi-page sites at £1,950. Every build includes your domain, a year of hosting, business email and a year of website care.
No VAT applies, so the price you see is the price you pay. Full details are on my WordPress web design page.
How long does a website take to design and build?
Most projects take two to four weeks, depending on the site’s size and how quickly the content is ready.
Larger builds take longer, and I am upfront about realistic timescales from the start.
I explain what affects the time it takes to build a website in a separate guide.
Do I need to be near you to work with you?
No. I work with clients right across the UK, and most projects are handled entirely by phone, email and video call.
I am based in Lanarkshire and cover Glasgow, Edinburgh, East Kilbride, Livingston, Paisley and Ayrshire in person when that helps. Distance makes no difference to the work.
What matters is that you can reach me directly whenever you need to.
Can you help with SEO?
Yes. Every website I build is set up with search in mind from the start, including structure, page titles and speed.
For businesses wanting to go further, I offer dedicated SEO services alongside the build.
Will I be able to update the website myself?
Yes. Your website is built with WordPress, and I show you how to update content, add images, and make day-to-day changes.
You should not need to call a web designer every time your opening hours change.
What if I already have a website?
That is often the easier place to start. I look at what you have and tell you which parts are worth keeping.
A redesign is frequently quicker and less expensive than building again from scratch.
