Web Design Across Ayrshire
I work with businesses right across Ayrshire. That covers Kilmarnock, Ayr, Irvine, Troon, Prestwick and Kilwinning, out to Largs, Stewarton and Cumnock.
Maybe you are starting out and need a website from day one. Maybe you have traded for years on word of mouth and referrals. Either way, the moment someone looks you up, what they find decides whether they call.
Your customers are searching before they pick up the phone. If they cannot find you, they find a competitor instead. You never hear about the enquiries you missed.
Already have a website that is letting you down? A redesign is often quicker and cheaper than starting again.

A Web Designer Who Thinks Like a Business Owner
Before web design, I spent over twenty years in the motor trade, first as an automotive parts advisor and later as a parts manager. That background shapes how I approach every project.
I do not just think about how a website looks. I think about what it needs to achieve: bringing in enquiries, building trust quickly, and making it easy for visitors to become customers.
When you work with me, you deal directly with the person building your website at every step.
No account managers, no being passed between departments, and no waiting days for a reply.
Proven Track Record: Real Websites for Real Businesses
Here’s a taste of the websites I’ve recently built for businesses throughout the UK. Every website was designed with a single goal: helping that business get found, look great, and win more customers.
What My Clients Say
Don’t just take my word for it. Here’s what business owners say about working with me:
How It Works: Simple, Clear, No Surprises
1. A No-Pressure Chat
Tell me about your business and what you need from your website, whether that is more enquiries or an online shop for your products. No sales pitch, just a straightforward conversation about what you are looking for.
2. I Put Together Your Plan
A fixed price, a timeline, and exactly what is included. You will know the full cost before any work begins, with no hidden extras.
3. I Build Your Website
I keep you involved at every stage so you can see the progress, give feedback, and know exactly what is happening throughout.
4. Your Site Goes Live
Once you are happy, I launch it. I will walk you through managing your site, so you feel confident from day one.
5. Ongoing Support if You Need It
After launch, I am still here. Whether you need updates, advice or a monthly care plan, you know where to find me.
How Much Does a Website Cost?
I offer three standard options that suit most businesses, plus custom and one-off builds for anything larger or bespoke. Every build includes a free domain name, one year of UK hosting, unlimited business email addresses, and a full year of website care. There is no VAT to add, so the price you see is the price you pay.
One-page Websites
A one-page website puts everything your customers need on one tidy, scrollable page. It is a fast, simple way to get your business online.
It works well if you are just starting out and want to test the waters. It also works well if you have one main service to show, or if you simply need an easy way to be found and contacted.
Brochure Websites
Up to five pages, designed, written and built. Mobile-friendly, with a contact form, Google Map, social links, and Google Analytics and Search Console set up.
Best for sole traders and businesses that want a proper presence and a site that brings in enquiries.
Multi-Page Business Websites
Up to twelve pages. Everything in the Brochure package, plus dedicated service and location pages, stronger internal linking, LocalBusiness schema and image optimisation across the site.
Best for established businesses with several services or areas to cover.
Custom Builds
Larger sites and anything bespoke. These are projects that go beyond standard packages, with custom design and features tailored to how your business works.
Priced on scope after a short discovery chat, so you are never paying for a package that does not fit.
Best for businesses that need more than the standard builds allow.

Do you work with businesses across all of Ayrshire?
Yes, I work with businesses right across North, South, and East Ayrshire, including Kilmarnock, Ayr, Irvine, Troon, Prestwick, Kilwinning, Largs, Stewarton, and Cumnock. I am based in Lanarkshire and cover Glasgow too, so an in-person meeting is easy to arrange.
How long does it take to design and build a website?
Building a custom website typically takes between 2 and 4 weeks, depending on project scale and content readiness. A clear, realistic timescale is provided upfront before any work starts. For the reasoning behind those timescales, see what a realistic website timescale looks like.
Will my website show up on Google?
Yes, every website includes local SEO foundations from day one to ensure search engines can index your business for Ayrshire searches. My post on how local customers find you on Google explains what happens next and why your Google Business Profile matters, too. Dedicated ongoing SEO services are also available for businesses that want to go further.
Can I update the website myself once it is live?
Yes, your site is built on WordPress so you can easily update content, add images, and make everyday changes. I guide you through managing the site step-by-step at launch.
What if I am not sure what I need yet?
You can get in touch for a straightforward, no-pressure chat where I will ask key questions about your goals and give an honest recommendation.
